Dear Editor,

I submit to you that the reason mass transit has summarily failed here is that free and independent people generally do not like to be hauled around like cattle.

The United Nations Agenda 21 has a plan to change that. The methods used in Agenda 21 forces the building of extremely dense population centers with high-rise apartments next to rapid transit stations. Most people in this country want to live where they want to, not where the government wants them to. The tools that big government and the UN are using to force our hand are environmental laws and higher gas prices.

The Endangered Species Act has been used for years to halt development in many areas using bugs and varmints as a reason to seize property rights from their rightful owners. The refusal by wholesale sold-out politicians to encourage domestic oil drilling is not just to protect the environment, it is also to force people to buy electric micro cars or ride bicycles. Watch for buzz phrases such as, smart growth and urban sprawl.

I suppose I am a conspiracy theorist, but it is not based on listening to pundits, it is through my many years in politics and researching both the environmental movement and Agenda 21. I encourage you to read the constitution then overlay that with Agenda 21 and see if you have a problem in allowing your government to cede your rights to foreign entities.
