– A special Season’s Reading event is planned for Saturday and
will include a visit by Congressman Mike Honda, as well as Santa
Clara County Supervisor Don Gage and Gilroy Mayor Al Pinheiro, who
will read to children.
Gilroy – A special Season’s Reading event is planned for Saturday and will include a visit by Congressman Mike Honda, as well as Santa Clara County Supervisor Don Gage and Gilroy Mayor Al Pinheiro, who will read to children.
The program takes place at Barnes&Noble Booksellers, 6825 Camino Arroyo.
The reading begins at 10am with an early visit by Santa Claus. Children who wish can have their pictures taken with Santa.
Lani Yoshimura, Head Librarian for the City of Gilroy Public Library, will begin the reading at 10am, followed by Mayor Al Pinheiro at 10:30am.
Congressman Honda will read at 11am, followed by Supervisor Gage reading at 11:15am.
Rachel Perez, of Gavilan College, will read at 11:30am followed by Mark Derry, editor of the Gilroy Dispatch.
