Grant funding is awarded to communities or grantees for a wide range of activities directed toward revitalizing neighborhoods, economic development and providing improved community facilities and services.

As a CDBG grantee community, the City of Gilroy utilizes its allocation in a variety of ways to assist low and moderate-income residents and community programs.

The public comment period runs through April 30. Written comments on the draft document must be received no later than 5pm on April 30 and can be emailed to Sa*********@ci**********.org.

The City Council will also hold a public hearing on May 1 and provide direction on funding allocations.
