Tran makes dean’s list
Cathy Tran, of San Martin, was named to the Muhlenberg College dean’s list for the fall 2023 semester. Muhlenberg College students and Muhlenberg College School of Continuing Studies students with a term GPA of 3.50 or higher were recognized for this academic achievement.
Court warns of false information in election mailings
The Santa Clara County Superior Court has issued a warning about mailings with information or endorsements on judicial elections purporting to come from the court administration.
They’’e false, court officials said in a statement Feb. 9.
“In fact, Court Administration does not take any position on judicial elections,” the court said. “We do not endorse, support, or oppose any candidates.”
Anyone who receives election-related communications claiming to be from Court Administration is urged to verify their authenticity by contacting the court directly at [email protected].

Mayor’s State of the City
Gilroy Mayor Marie Blankley will deliver her 2024 State of the City address on April 29 at Gilroy Council Chambers, 7351 Rosanna Street in Gilroy. The speech is scheduled to begin at 7pm.
The annual State of the City address “serves as a pivotal moment for the City of Gilroy to reflect on our past achievements, address current challenges and outline the vision for the future of Gilroy,” says an event announcement from the city.
