Marietta Segal passed away quietly in her home in Morgan Hill, CA on July 29, 2009. Dr. Segal received her doctorate degree from State University of N.Y. at Buffalo. She was a professor and Head of the Child Development And Educational Studies Department at Gavilan College in Gilroy, CA, retiring May, 2008. Ms. Segal will be loved and missed by her friends and family, as she touched many lives with her generosity and sense of humor.
Ms. Segal was the daughter of John Segal, deceased and sister of Robert Segal, deceased. She is survived by her mother, Lillian Segal and her sister, Iris Segal. Family and friends are invited to the memorial service at The Bridge of San Martin, located at 425 E. Middle Avenue, San Martin, CA, 95046 on August 8, 2009, at 11:00 A.M. In lieu of flowers, memorial funds will be given to the Bridge of San Martin in her memory. Darling-Fischer Chapel of the Hills serving the family.
