Morgan Hill police are looking for a Morgan Hill man who threatened his wife with a gun, and is wanted on suspicion of felony drug activity.
Christopher Haygood, 27, showed up at his wife’s residence at Keystone Avenue shortly after 9 p.m. Thursday, according to Morgan Hill Police Sgt. Jerry Neumayer. The couple began arguing shortly after Haygood arrived.
“He made some threats, and showed her the butt of a hand gun,” Neumayer said, though Haygood eventually let the woman leave the home.
The next day, police went to the home, which is also Haygood’s last listed address, and investigated the incident. He was not at the home, and police are still looking for him for questioning into the incident, Neumayer said.
Haygood is also wanted on a no-bail warrant for possession of methamphetamine and being under the influence of a controlled substance, and a $10,000 warrant for an unspecified misdemeaner charge. Both warrants were issued by the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office.
Haygood has brown hair and blue eyes. He is five-feet, six-inches tall and about 150 pounds.
