Dear Editor,
This is directed to Ms. Apuzzo and many other columnists for the
Dispatch. What happened to the old rule that says, when using
acronyms, always proceed the first usage in an article by spelling
out the complete words?
Dear Editor,
This is directed to Ms. Apuzzo and many other columnists for the Dispatch. What happened to the old rule that says, when using acronyms, always proceed the first usage in an article by spelling out the complete words? It would help to understand the articles if we knew the meaning of WASC or CAHSEE.

Editor’s note: Yep, our mistake. WASC: Western Association of Schools and Colleges; CAHSEE: California high school exit exam.
