Fortino named Rabobank business banking officer
Phil Fortino has been appointed vice president and business banking officer for Rabobank, N.A. As business banking officer, Fortino is responsible for fostering relationships with small- to medium-sized companies and providing solutions to meet the banking needs of customers in Gilroy, Hollister and the surrounding area. Before joining Rabobank, Fortino served as small business banker for Bank of America and was president and general manager for his own company, Fortino’s Total Home. He attended Gavilan College in Gilroy and Fresno Technical College. He is involved with several organizations in Hollister, including the Rotary Club, Community Foundation, Elk’s Lodge, Chamber of Commerce and the Hollister Downtown Association.
GVA Café celebrates grand opening
Friends, family, Chamber of Commerce staff and ambassadors, and owner Rene’ Carrillo celebrated the grand opening of the downtown coffee house and cafe’ with music, food and an antique car display. Liliane Restaurant holds ribbon cutting
Liliane Restaurant, which serves French cuisine, held a ribbon cutting and grand opening celebration Feb. 13 with the Morgan Hill Chamber of Commerce, Mayor Steve Tate, Chamber of Commerce and Visitor Center Executive Christine Guisiana and friends. Station 55 celebrates new owners
On Oct. 12, the community welcomed Station 55’s new owners, Shauna and Charles Davis, to downtown Gilroy. Their restaurant is located at 55 Fifth Street. They received enthusiastic support from the fire department, friends, family and the Gilroy Chamber of Commerce.
