And now it is three weeks since the disappearance of Sierra LaMar, who was abducted while walking to the school bus stop the morning of March 16. Of course we are all hoping that she will be safely returned to her family.  

Jerry “Papa” Smith August 11, 1934 - March 4, 2012 Jerry “Papa” Smith passed away March 4, 2012 after a courageous battle with lung disease. Jerry leaves behind wife Julia of 59 years; daughters Patty Galdos (Butch), Dee-Ann Dike (Matt); grandchildren Tom (Jodi), Nathan (Sasha), Courtney Galdos (Phil); great-grandchildren Thomas, Ashley, Markus, Gage, Emily and Kinley Galdos; sister Reba Medeiros, sisters-in-law Helen Smith, Margarita Johnson; brothers-in-law Ernest Alvarado and Wally Johnson; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
