David W. Amendt aged 45 years passed away suddenly in Hollister on Sunday May 16th, 2010. David was a native of Summers, NJ, a former resident of San Jose, and a current resident of Hollister for the last 10 years. David was a Manager of the tire and automotive department for Rossi's of Monterey.

Loving wife, mother,and grandmother to 11 grandchildren & numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, passed away peacefully to Jesus's arms on May 14, 2010, at the Hospice Hospital in Hughson, CA. She left her husband Sonny Young of Modesto, CA, daughters Sally Mack, Barbara Greer, and Linda Myer. She was proceeded in death by her son Gary Jackson, her mother Ruby Williams, father Johnny O'Neal, brother Carl O'Neal, and her sister Silvia O'Neal. She was a great wife and mother, very much loved and cherished and she will be missed very much. Internment will be at the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Santa Nella, CA. on Saturday May 22, 2010.
