Richard Thomas Hill passed on March 18, 2010 after a short battle with lung cancer. Richard was born on April 13, 1934, to Crawford C. and Elizabeth C. Hill in Portland, Oregon. He moved to Redwood City as a young man and graduated from Sequoia High School in 1952. He married Joan M. Hill on January 20, 1955 and after serving in the army, graduated from San Jose State College in 1964.
