HIROSHI NISHITA. Born on July 15, 1932 in San Juan Bautista, California, passed away on November 15, 2009, at the age of 77. Hiroshi grew up in San Juan Bautista, prior to being interned during WWII at Poston, Arizona. After returning to California, Hiroshi attended and graduated from Hollister High School. He attended Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, and then was drafted into the U.S. Army, where he served in the Korean War. After his service, he attended Oakland Jr. College, and then the College of Arts and Crafts, majoring in advertising. He later became a produce manager for Mayfair Market in Redondo Beach.
Catherine Naomi Schneider
On November 19th, 2009 Catherine Naomi Schneider went to be with her Lord. She lived in Hollister 52 years. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 66 years, Anthony Joseph Schneider Sr, her infant son, Michael Arthur and her two sisters, Lillian Azevedo and Florence Guthrie.
