Barbara Ann Alkire
Third Generation Morgan Hill resident Barbara Alkire, passed peacefully at her daughter's home 11/15/09 at the age of 76. Her grandparents, Charles and Lela Mann where residents of Morgan Hill in 1927, where Charles had the local Barber Shop and Lela worked for the Old Los Gatos Telephone Company office in town. Barbara, a retiree from General Electric, graduate of Live Oak High School and member of the Morgan Hill Grange. She is survived by her daughter Kathleen Gay and her son-in-law, Noel Gay, three grandchildren, Nichole Rhodes, Kurtis Rhodes and Phillip Rhodes and her two step-grandchildren, Dustin Gay and Josie Gay. Her life celebration will be held at the El Toro Brewery on Sunday 11/22 from 4:00-8:00 P.M. Private Internment.
