Wendell Gaylord Peterson
Wendell joined his flight of Angels after a six month illness at home, leaving behind Alice Marie Peterson, his wife of 26 years. Also surviving him are brother Norman (Margaret) Peterson, sisters Rachel Brown of Merced, CA, Florene Tyre of Branson, Mo, daughters Diann Peterson of Castaic, CA, Laurie Hallum of Redding, CA, Rebecca(Sam) Bauman of Wilsonville, OR, step-sons Victor (Roxanne )Wilson of Redmond, OR, Robert (Stephanie) Wilson of Gilroy, CA and numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great- grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. He was a flight instructor for the Army Aircorps during WWII. He was also a respected retired member of Carpenters Union Local #405 for over 50 years as well as a member of the American Legion of Gilroy, the Eastern Star, Freemasons and a 32degree of the Scottish Rites. He lead a long life with involvement in many organizations and interests too numerous to mention. He died at home surrounded by family. There will be no service and the family requests that instead of flowers a donation be made to your favorite charity in Wendell's name.
