Paul Malech
Paul Malech passed away Wednesday, April 4, 2007 after a long illness. He was the son of Earl and Ruth Malech, and spent his early years on the Malech ranch in Coyote. He attended local schools; Hartnell College in Salinas and Fresno State College, after which he joined the U.S. Navy. Upon returning from his Navy commitment, he lived and worked in Morgan Hill as a builder. In 1957, he married Mary Hale of Morgan Hill, and they had three sons who survive him; Steve (Donna) of Morgan Hill, Scott (Amy) of Escondido and Tom (Julie) of Coyote. He was grandpa "Pablo" to his grandchildren, Matthew, Julia, Luke, Amanda, Morgan, Hudson and Presley. He also leaves his beloved brothers, Burt, Keith and Ray, and sister, Lucille Melot. He was uncle to many nieces and nephews, and friend to many. A celebration of his life will be held on Tuesday, April 10, 2007 at 2:00 pm at the Masonic Temple, 380 W. Dunne Avenue in Morgan Hill. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Paul's memory to St. John the Divine Episcopal Church in Morgan Hill.
