Caltrain and the California High Speed Rail Authority have come to an agreement to electrify Caltrain from San Francisco to San Jose, leaving the route between San Jose and Gilroy in the technological dust. 

Steven A. Gordon, 55, passed away unexpectedly on March 30, 2009 in Santa Barbara, CA. He was born in Madison, Wisconsin on January 10, 1954 and graduated from Lafollette High School in 1972. At the age of 18, Steve began his professional career at Wisconsin Public Radio as a recording engineer. He moved to California in 1980 and became in independent audio producer, engineer and voice talent working with a number of media companies on the west and east coasts. His work is reflected in many commercials, webcasts, television and film productions. Steve also developed and marketed his own audio book label which received four Audie awards - the audio book industry's highest award - as well as numerous other audio book citations.
