Floy Stockton Ebaugh was entered into rest on September 12, 2008 in Campbell River, British Columbia. She was born in Bakersfield to Irving and Gladys Stockton. Floy graduated from Bakersfield High School and attended U.C.L.A. In 1946 she married Dr. James Ebaugh. They moved to Gilroy in 1948. She then went on to graduate from San Jose State University and worked as an elementary teacher in Gilroy for twenty years. Following her retirement, Floy traveled extensively throughout the world and spent her summers on Quadra Island in British Columbia. She was an enthusiastic member of the American Association of University Women and a 110 year old Gilroy organization known as F.R.F.G.

Daniel N. Stull passed away in Hollister at the age of 43. He was born in Hollister and lived here all of his life. He married his wife, Anne, in 1984 in Hollister and was a member of Sacred Heart/St. Benedict's Catholic Church. He graduated from Gavilan College Aviation Program and coached Hollister Heat Girl's Softball. He was an aviation mechanic for 16 years and had worked for John Weatherly.
Gabino T. Flores, Sr. passed away at Stanford Medical Center at the age of 85. He was born in San Juan, Texas and lived in Hollister for over 60 years. He and his wife, Hortencia were married in 1954 in San Juan, TX and moved to Hollister in 1955. He worked in the agriculture business for many years, served in the U.S. Army during WWII and he liked to fill his time with scratching lottery tickets, feeding the birds, watching boxing, taking walks, playing with his grandchildren, cooking every now and then and finally, politics.
Charles Edward Logan died on Friday, September 12, 2008. Born on September 22, 1949, Charles graduated from Santa Clara University: School of Law and practiced Law in San Jose. He is survived by his wife, Cecelia (Cleo) Logan, a son, Charles, daughter-in-law Samantha, grandson, Xavier, his parents, Luella and Earl Logan, six siblings and a large extended family.
Frances Colleen Houseweart passed away in Salinas at the age of 82. She was born in Yakima, WA and moved to Hollister in 1992 from Santa Nella. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ed Houseweart who died in 1989.
Lillian B. Peterson passed away September 18, 2008 in Gilroy. She was 83 years old. She is survived by her son John E. and wife Elizabeth Peterson of Gilroy, grandmother of Rebecca Peterson of Santa Cruz , Jill and her husband Robert DeForge of Ben Lomond and Sean and wife Paige Skinner of Clovis, great-grandmother of Riley, Jack and Cia. She was preceded in death by her husband John J. Peterson and daughter Carole Skinner. Private services were held at Gavilan Hills Memorial Park, Gilroy.
