Gene O’Neill passed away September 22, 2012 after a three and a half year stay at Mabie South, Skilled Nursing Facility at Hazel Hawkins Hospital in Hollister. Our family is grateful to every staff member for the excellent care he received. The wonderful people we have met during these past years have become true friends and extended family. The shared smiles, compassion and empathy we received are treasured gifts. You are all loved and will remain within our hearts. God bless you.

Andrew Trinchero passed away at Gilroy Healthcare on Aug. 18. He was born in Oakland, CA to Francesca and Severino Trinchero then returned to Torino Italy where he lived for 11 years. He returned to the US and settled in Gilroy, CA with his Aunt Mary and Uncle John Giachina.
Annie Sue Bradford died on her birthday, December 6th at the age of 88. She was born in Shiloh, TN and lived there until joining the Women's Army Corp during WWII. She married Alexander Bradford after the war and moved with him to Shoshone, CA near Death Valley. They moved to Hollister when they decided to start a family, buying a small farm in the San Juan Valley where they grew walnuts. Annie Sue, "Boots" to her friends, was a teacher's aide for many years at San Juan School. She was active in the Hollister United Methodist Church and Red Hat Society. She flew across the country twice with her husband in their airplane, visiting family in Tennessee. She enjoyed hiking and camping in the Sierra Nevada Mtns. Annie Sue was predeceased by her husband, Alexander and her son, Paul Max Bradford. She is mourned by her daughter, Annie Laura Bradford, her son, Lowell Alan Bradford and her son in law, Bruce Riehl. The delight of her life was her grandchildren, Sonrisa Stepath and Aaron Bradford and one great grandchild, Cecilia Ane Acob. Her family honors her love of life and her courage.

Teresa Filice passed away at her residence in Hollister October 5th with her loving family at her side. Teresa was a native of Piane Crati, Italy, who came to San Benito County in 1960 after spending three years in Canada.Teresa was a member of Sacred Heart Church; the Teamsters Local No. 890 of Salinas; a retired employee from the Hollister Cannery and Tri-Valley Foods. "She was a wonderful homemaker, a great cook, who loved her children and grandchildren, enjoyed raising her vegetables in her garden, and sharing her talents as an accomplished embroiderer by embroidering fine linens for peoples' weddings and other special occasions", said her family. She was the daughter of the late Eugenio and Agata Perelli Filice. Teresa's husband Luigi passed away in April of 1999. Surviving are her daughters Clara Crowe; Emma Davis, husband Charles, and Mary Righetti, husband Robert all of Hollister; six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren---with "two on the way", and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Wednesday, Oct. 8th from 12 noon until 7:00 P.M. at the Grunnagle Ament Nelson Funeral Home 870 San Benito St., Hollister. Family and friends will leave the mortuary Thursday morning at 9:30 A.M. for a Mass of Christian Burial at Sacred Heart Church beginning at 10:00 A.M. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
