Gene, as he was affectionately called for most of his life, passed peacefully in his sleep while in the arms of his beloved wife, Kathryn (Zgragen) of 63 years, with brother Jim holding his hand.

Eugenio (Gino) Bozzo passed away Monday morning at his home in Hollister. Born in Italy and had lived in Hollister for 55 years. He had worked for the City of Hollister in the public works department for 25 years. Eugenio was an avid fisherman and enjoyed gardening for his friends and neighbors.
Carmen, of Bakersfield, CA, is in Heaven with the Angels and her husband, Henry after a long illness. She will be truly missed but never forgotten by her family and friends!
Fred Anthony Arena passed away Tuesday evening at the age of 48 in Hollister. A native of Illinois, Fred had lived in Santa Cruz for over 10 years, coming to Hollister 2-½ years ago. Fred was an alarm technician with First Alarm. He was an avid HOG member.
Born to Rosa and Roman Muro in Florencia, Zacatecas, Mexico. From the ages of 6-11 years lived in Chicago, Illinois, family returned to live in Guadalajara, Jalisco and immigrated to California in 1947. Resident of San Juan Bautista since 1949. Worked at local canneries for over 35 years. Member of Teamsters Union and Mission San Juan Bautista and St. Benedict's Church in Hollister.
