Bill Ryan passed away peacefully at home Monday. He was a husband for 56 years to the late Catherine Rya and father of Candace Yeamans (John) of Long Beach, CA, Debby Stuker(Chris) of Gilroy and Sheri Orlando (Joe) of Lake Havasu City, AZ. Grandfather of Adrienne, Michele, Lindsey, Alan & Scott and great-grandfather of Brenden, Spencer, Austin & Brian. Also survived by nieces and nephews.
Passed away in Salinas at the age of 93. Private cremation will be followed by private inurnment in San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery in Santa Nella.
Linda passed away on May 15, after a courageous battle with cancer. Linda was born in San Jose, a long-time resident and founder of Vanity Hair Salon in Morgan Hill, CA. Linda loved to travel, but most of all she enjoyed being with her family and friends who loved and appreciated her caring, thoughtfullness and ever present joy. She is survived by her loving husband of 13 years, Ron Handley; parents, Jean and Thomas Monroe; sister, Vickie Monroe; daughter, Jennifer McGill; sons, Steve and Michael O'Hara; grandsons, John, Joshua, Mickenzy and nephew, Gabriel. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 24, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. at Johnson Funeral Home, 17720 Monterey Street in Morgan Hill. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Linda's memory to the American Cancer Society.

Frances Elaine Camacho, a native of Gilroy, passed away peacefully on May 15, 2008. She is survived by her five children, daughters, Jean Dix (Pleasanton) and Luann Smith (Brentwood); sons, Steve Camacho (Salinas), Fran Camacho (Gilroy), and Don Camacho (Pensacola, FL); 15 grandchildren, 33 great- grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren. Frances was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Janine Annette Ferguson and Joseph Leal Camacho.
We celebrate the life of our beloved husband, father, papa, brother, son and friend, Jimmie "Jim" McCoy, a generous and warm spirit, who died after a courageous, year-long battle with lung cancer. He was 63. Jimmie was born in Virginia, and raised in Ohio. He later moved to the San Pablo Bay Area after marrying wife, Barbara of 42 years, where they raised their two children Jeffrey, and Elizabeth. Jimmie was a lover of sports, and coached many Pony baseball teams. He loved golf and served a year as president for the Pinole Men's Golf Assoc. His greatest golf achievement was his cherished hole-in-one at Franklin Canyon GC. He enjoyed watching the horses run at Golden Gate Fields and once hit the "Pick Six". He loved to watch football and enjoyed traveling after retiring from Safeway Warehouse in Tracy, CA where he worked for 27 yrs as a mechanic. Jimmie also was a member of the S.I.R.S. club in Vallejo, and the Richmond Moose Lodge. He lived his last remaining 15 years in Oakley, CA. He is proceeded in death by his father, Robert "Mack" McCoy and brother Roy McCoy. He is survived by his wife, Barbara McCoy (Brookshire); son, Jeffrey McCoy; daughter Elizabeth Rivera; son-in-law, Robert Rivera; grand daughters, Isabella & Analisa Rivera; daughter-in-law, Maria McCoy; mother, Bertie Marie McCoy; brothers, Richard, Corbet, Teddy Sr, Jerry and Michael McCoy; sisters, Ethel, Betty, Lorine, Becky and Linda; and many aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins, in-laws and friends.
Alfredo Padilla Castaneda passed away last Wednesday at the age of 75 at the Good Samaritan Hospital in San Jose. A native of Mexico City, Mexico, coming to San Benito County 58 years ago residing in San Juan Bautista. Mr. Castaneda was a member of Old Mission San Juan Bautista and was a retired supervisor for Western Farm Services. He is survived by his wife Maria L. Castaneda of San Juan Bautista, his children, Maria Jessie Mansmith of San Juan Bautista, Sylvia Castaneda Downing of Costa Mesa, Alicia Cardenas of Temecula and Alfredo Padilla Castaneda, Jr. of Hollister, and grandchildren, Esther Castaneda, Alyssa and Patrick D. Mansmith, Fabian Dagang, Marissa Castaneda, Aidan Patrick Castaneda, Martin and Clarissa Cardenas. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Sharon was a devoted mother and Gran. She is survived by her 4 children, their spouses and grandchildren; Nusheen Zarnegar-Hall, her husband, Harris and children Spencer and Carsyn; daughter Jennifer Zarnegar; son Brian Zarnegar; and son Mark Zarnegar and his wife Melanie.
