Olga N. Bertuccio passed away last Tuesday at Salinas Valley Memorial Hospital at the age of 84. Olga was born and raised in Hollister and lived here all her life. She attended local schools and graduated from San Benito High School. She was a member of Immaculate Conception and Sacred Heart parishes, and a member of the Farm Bureau. Olga was an orchardist as well as the proprietor of Bertuccio's Fruit Stand at her property on Airline Highway where she enjoyed working and assisting people. "She liked it because it kept her in touch with her friends", said her family. "She wasn't a stranger to people, because she always wanted to assist people", said her sister, Irma. She also had a great love for animals, especially her dogs and cats.
Glenn has gone to be with our Lord and Savior, where he will enjoy eternal rest. He died peacefully in his home on Saturday, April 26. He was a kind and honorable man, always doing what he could for others.
Ned Everett, 96, of Hollister, passed away April 25, 2008. He is survived by his daughters, Sabra Everett, Hollister, and Louise Graham, Lexington, Kentucky as well as a granddaughter, Mary Louise (Nick) Pozaric and a great-grandson, Graham Everett Pozaric, all of Louisville, Kentucky. His wife, Mary Lou, preceded him in death in 2003. Mr. Everett was a retired banker whose hobbies were model trains and family history. The family thanks all who provided care for him in his last illness, particularly Dr. Marni J. Friedman and the staff of the Mabie Southside Skilled Nursing Center. The Lord called Tom back to His home on April 21, 2008. Tom was born on August 19, 1918 in Bonesteel, South Dakota, In 1929, the family moved to Charleston Road in Mountain View, California to establish a family dairy.

Mary passed away in her home on Sunday afternoon April 20th, 2008 surrounded by her loved ones. She will be remembered for her loving heart and nurturing ways and her love of bingo, crocheting, coooking and coloring. She is preceded in death by her husband Jose L. Diaz Sr., her children Angelo, Ventura (Ralph) Gonzalez Celia Yourgulez. She is survived by her children Gloria (Cenado) Ayala, Richard Diaz, Alice Lamson, Virginia (Thomas) Martinez, John F. (Marylou) Diaz Sr., Maggie Diaz, Joe F. Diaz Jr., Erma Charles, Irene (Manuel) Lujan-Trinidad, 35 grandchildren, 79 great-grandchildren and 21 great-great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on May 3rd, 2008 at First Baptist Church, 8455 Wren Avenue, Gilroy, CA at 11:00 A.M.
Dorothy M. Muscari, 82, passed away Wednesday, April 23, 2008 at The Ridge Rehabilitation Center of Salinas. She was born February 19, 1926 in Chicago, Illinois.
Mr. Miller was a Gilroy resident and Veteran of the Army of the United States. He was the husband of Erna Miller of Gilroy. Graveside services have been changed to Friday, April 25, 2008 - 12:00 P.M. Noon at Golden Gate National Cemetery, San Bruno, CA.
