Passed away March 23, 2008. Visitation Wednesday, March 26, 2008 5:00 – 9:00 P.M. at Habing Family Funeral Home, Gilroy. Funeral services Thursday, March 27, 2008 – 10:00 A.M. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery, San Jose

Mark E. Felix entered into rest in Visalia at the age of 44. Committal services will be held on Friday, March 28, 2008 at 12:00 P.M. at the IOOF Cemetery Columbarium. Pastor Duane Cashion of Grace Bible Church will officiate.

Ramiro B. Garcia entered into rest March 23, 2008, Easter Sunday at the age of 83. He was born in Donna, Texas came to Hollister and later to Gilroy in the mid 40's, he was retired from Gilroy Foods, a member of the Teamster's Union, St. Mary's Church and was an avid hunter. He was preceded in death by the mother of his children Victoria Velador. Mr. Garcia is survived by his children Adolf (Linda) Garcia of Oklahoma, Suzanne (John) Trujillo of Susanville, Sylvia (Frank) Dutra of Morgan Hill, Robert Garcia of Indiana, Sandy (Gordon) Fortino of Gilroy and Ramiro Jr. (Rey) Garcia of Quatar. Funeral Mass will be Saturday, March 29, 2008 10:00 A.M. at St. Mary's Church. Vigil Services will be Friday, March 28, 2008 at 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Visitation will begin at 1:00 P.M.

Mr. Hannah passed away suddenly March 24th at St. Louise Regional Hospital in Gilroy. He is the spouse of Earline Hannah of Hollister. As per his wishes, no services will be held. For those who wish to do so, memorials may be sent to the Hollister Animal Shelter c/o the funeral home chapel.

.Passed away at her home on Saturday, March 22, 2008. Mother of Robert Aviles of Fresno, Roy Aviles of San Martin, Cecilia Quihuis of Gilroy, Bill Aviles of Morgan Hill and Bernice Sanchez of San Martin. Grandmother of 15. Great-grandmother of 29. Great-great-grandmother of 2. Sister of Eva Hernandez of El Monte, CA, Adam Sanchez of Sacramento, and the late Albert & William Sanchez and Carmen Diaz. A native of Winkelman, AZ. Mrs. Gonzalez enjoyed quilting.

Entered into rest in Hollister. She was born in Hollister and lived here all of her life. She is preceded in death by her husband, Brooks Houghton who died in 1965. She was a graduate of Mills College in Oakland with a bachelor's degree. Margaret taught school in San Francisco, Morgan Hill and San Benito County. She was a member of St. Luke's Episcopal Church, California Retired Teachers' Association, Republican Women, Native Daughters of the Golden West and Hollister Women's Club.

Born in a coal mining town in Penn., Carol taught piano lessons to pay for nursing school, where she met her husband, Mel. After living all over the country their family settled in San Jose where Carol devoted herself to her career and her children. She was a dedicated nurse at Los Gatos Community Hospital and retired in 1999 to nanny her newborn grandsons. Carol leaves behind her a legacy of compassion, grace and love. She never ceased to heal those in need, in or out of the hospital. Her strength, independence and empathy are an inspiration to us all as we struggle to fill the void she has left behind in our hearts. Her infectious spirit will survive her. There are no words for how much we loved her.

Entered into rest in Salinas at the age of 67. Memorial services will be held on Monday, March 31, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Cienega Road, Hollister. Cremation to be followed by private family inurnment.

Born in Portsmouth, VA April 1943, Nelda passed away March 2008 in St. Louise Regional Hospital after fighting cancer here in Gilroy with family by her side. She leaves behind her surviving mother Edith M. Thorne, A half sister Sharon in Maine, two daughters Edith L. Nieto, husband Arthur, Annissa Augusto and husband Joe, two granddaughters Annissa and Alyssa Martinez, Alexander Felix and family, and also aunts and cousins in Portsmouth, Va. She was a loving, kind hearted person who touched the lives of many. She will forever be loved and missed. Nelda is alive and well with Christ and is doing what she always wanted to do.

Entered into rest in Hollister at the age of 57. She is the wife of John Dusek of Hollister. Arrangements for private cremation with private family inurnment.
