Early Childhood is a recreationally-based program that focuses on the “building blocks” to kindergarten readiness by providing a series of integrated learning experiences. Classes are designed to give young children an opportunity to play and interact socially in a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment, as they learn to become cooperative members of a group.
Teaching staff encourage confidence and creativity, while providing age-appropriate, skill-building activities that foster learning through arts and crafts, music, language and children’s literature, as well as number and letter recognition. Positive social behavior and hands-on experiences are explored daily and promoted in a developmental setting.
