South County got a taste of Nashville and plenty of garlic when songwriters Wendell Mobley and Lee Thomas Miller performed July 13 at Clos LaChance Winery in San Martin. The concert, sponsored by KRTY, was the second in a series of 2022 events presented by the Gilroy Garlic Festival Association. The organization is gearing up for a farm-to-table dinner on Sept. 10 at Gavilan College. Proceeds from all events will go toward various charities and nonprofit organizations, a tradition of the festival for more than 40 years. For information, visit gilroygarlicfestivalassociation.com.
