The Flower Buds perform a drumming routine during a preview event for Gilroy Gardens’ upcoming 2023 season on March 18. The park opens to the public on March 25. New this year is the Fantastical Flowers Spring Celebration, a two-month event featuring brightly colored blossoms, larger-than-life silk sculptures, and floral-themed food and family activities throughout the park. Gilroy Gardens also plans to open a new water park area in the summer known as Lakeside Splash. Now under construction on the location that formerly housed Bonfante’s Splash Garden, the addition will include an interactive water play area with cabanas and a barbecue restaurant and bar.
