DEAR EDITOR:
We thank Doug Meier and many others for their appreciation and support of Bonfante Gardens and our association with Paramount Parks. We believe that the professional management of the park by Paramount Parks allows the vision and creation of Michael Bonfante to continue forward as the Board monitors the association and manages the non-profit corporation.
We are at our current optimistic situation because the Board, as a team, has dedicated the necessary time and resources to make it happen. Al Pinheiro, Patti Hale, Steve Lowney, Joel Goldsmith, Alan Owens, Michael Bonfante, and myself and as individual contributors, believe in the park and its contribution to the community.
The leading force in establishing our association with Paramount Parks, however, has been Alan Owens. His other full-time job, (and the one that pays his mortgage, etc.) is the ownership of a local manufacturing company. His hard work and dedicated efforts have been key in the success of our efforts to secure the management agreement with Paramount Parks allowing the pursuit of a stable future for Bonfante Gardens.
We also cannot forget the dedicated staff who have brought Bonfante Gardens to be the beautiful park that it is today.
Thank you community and thank you staff.
Bob Kraemer, Gilroy
