Police arrested Watsonville residents Joseph Gutierrez, 21, and Isaias Barron-Zamora, 19, along with 19-year-old Freedom resident Ruben Garcia, after the GPD said they broke into the store around 1 a.m. and fled with a currently unreported amount of merchandise.

All three were booked into the Santa Clara County Main Jail in San Jose, according to a GPD press release. They potentially face burglary and conspiracy charges.

At 1:11 a.m. Sunday, officers responded to a burglary in progress at the store, located at 680 Leavesley Road. According to police, witnesses saw two suspects breaking into the business and stealing electronics.

The suspects fled on foot with some of the merchandise, and one suspect was apprehended a short distance away. The other hopped into a getaway car, according to the GPD.

Officers stopped the car as it was leaving the area and arrested the second suspect and the driver. Stolen property from the business was recovered from the vehicle, police said.

More stolen property was recovered near where the first suspect was arrested. According to the GPD, the arrests resulted in full recovery of the stolen property, which totaled $6,700 worth of items, including eight laptop computers.
