Tuesday, near IOOF and Murray avenues.
Possession of a controlled substance

Guadalupe Martinez, 40, of Merced, 1:23 a.m. Tuesday, near Monterey and Ninth streets on warrants for being under the influence of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and failure to appear in court.

Burglary

Salvador Jimenez, 18, of San Jose, 9:16 p.m. Monday, at 797 First St. for burglary and on warrants for not possessing an animal license, driving with a suspended license and failure to appear in court.

Driving with a suspended license

Sayed Faquiryan, 29, of Fairfield, 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, at the Gilroy Police Depatment, 7301 Hanna St., on warrants for improper display of license plates and driving with a suspended license.

Henry Corvera, 32, of Morgan Hill, 3:41 a.m. Tuesday, at 691 First St. on four warrants for driving with a suspended license, a warrant for driving under the influence and a warrant for giving a false identity to a peace officer.

Battery

Filicia Garcia, 35, of San Jose, 9:39 p.m. Tuesday, near Fairview Drive and Hanna Street on a warrant.

Assault with a deadly weapon
