At 3:40 p.m. Saturday in the area of Westside Boulevard and
Steinbeck Drive, deputies arrested a man, 18, of Hollister on
suspicion of possessing a switch blade and agitating a police dog.
The man apparently had been trying to agitate the dog by barking at
it and making faces.

Two women fight in jail
At 8:50 p.m. Sunday, deputies stopped two San Benito County jail inmates in a physical fight. The case, involving the two women, ages 30 and 37, was referred to the San Benito County District Attorney’s Office.
