Police are searching for two men who forced their way into a
residence, tied up the occupant, then left without taking anything,
according to the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Department.
Police are searching for two men who forced their way into a residence, tied up the occupant, then left without taking anything, according to the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Department.
About 8:15 a.m. Wednesday, the two men forced their way into the home on the 200 block of Tilton Avenue in unincorporated Morgan Hill, according to Sgt. Rick Sung. After tying up the victim, a 16-year-old female, they conducted a hasty search, police said, then left within a few minutes. It appears nothing was taken and the resident was unharmed.
The first man is described as a Spanish speaking Hispanic male, about 40, 5-feet,11-inches tall, weighing about 200 pounds. He had thick black hair – in a crew cut – and was last seen wearing dark clothing. He was armed with a black handgun. The second man is described as a Spanish speaking Hispanic male, 5-feet, 8-inches tall, weighing about 160 pounds. He had a shaved head and was last seen wearning dark clothing.
The men only spoke Spanish to the victim, Sung said.
Both men are still at large. Police produced a sketch of one of the suspects, and are in the process of sketching the second suspect.
