Nathan Bonsell threw six scoreless innings and Sean Corral went 2-for-4 with a home run, two runs scored and three RBIs to lead Christopher High’s baseball team to a 6-0 road win over North Salinas on Thursday.
Tyler Fhurong went 2-for-4 with a triple for the Cougars, and teammate Ryan Fredricks was 2-for-4 with a double. Pat Valdez doubled and drove in a run for Christopher.
Also Thursday, Gilroy fell 13-8 to Milpitas, despite a 3-for-4 outing from Brendan Holler and a 1-for-2 showing from Ron Reed.
Gilroy posted a 4-1 win over North Monterey County on Wednesday.

Christopher dropped a 15-25, 20-25, 27-25, 25-21, 15-11 marathon match at Salinas on Thursday, losing the final three sets.

Gilroy shot a team total of 279 to finish sixth in a Monterey Bay League Pacific Division match Thursday at Pajaro Golf Course.
