Cougars net lowest score in school history, top San Benito
The Christopher High girls golf team is off to a fantastic start.
The Cougars topped San Benito 273-306 Thursday for the lowest team score in school history on a par 36 course at San Juan Oaks. 
The win improves CHS to 2-0 so far this season.
Natalie Gutierrez was the medalist of the match, scoring a 49 on the day. Nina Velez scored a 53 while Julie Santiago scored a 56.
Christopher will be back in action at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday to square off against Gilroy High.
