2003 in Gilroy. She was 84 years old.

She is survived by her daughter Rebecca Little of Gilroy and her son and daughter-in-law George and Eiko Stewart of Watsonville. She is also survived by her granddaughters Melissa Custer of Houston, Texas, Hilary Little of Gilroy, Elise Little of Gilroy, Ashley Little of Gilroy and Emiko Stewart of Watsonville; grandson Ken Stewart of Watsonville; great-grandchildren Jeremiah Chavez, Elizabeth Chavez and Catherine Custer of Houston; her sister Lucille Smith of Fayetteville, Ark; brothers William Wingert of Boise City, Okla. and James Wingert of Boise City; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Elizabeth Ann Stewart.

She was a native of Boise City, Okla.

She was a warm and loving mother and friend who greatly enjoyed people and dancing. She will be much missed by her family. Mrs. Stewart’s latter years were marred by the ravages of Alzheimer’s Disease and the family would like to express their appreciation to the caring staff of the Live Oak Adult Day Services and Gilroy Health Care in Gilroy.

Memorial donations may be made in memory of Prieta Stewart to the Live Oak Adult Day Services, 651 W. 6th St, Gilroy, CA 95020 and would be appreciated.

Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, Jan. 30 at 10 a.m. at Habing Family Funeral Home, Gilroy.
