Team Talamo rallied past DS Builders 12-11 in eight innings Thursday in the 2012 Adult Spring-Summer Men’s C League opener at Christmas Hill Park.
Gil Barry and Richie Rodriquez each hit safely and scored in the bottom of the seventh inning as Talamo scored twice to leave the game tied at 11-11. Mario Talamo singled and scored the game-winner on Steve Martinez’ hit in the eighth.
Art Esquier produced two triples and a single for Talamo. Danny Pequeno added two doubles and scored twice. Charlie Duffy went 4-for-5 for DS Builders and Chris Wong went 3-for-5 and scored three Builder runs.
Gino Martinez went 3-for-3 and scored four runs to highlight a 16-9 Hard Ninety victory over Freddie Sanchez Hardwood Floors.
Mark Guajardo, Matt Galindo and Rudy Tovar each hit a double and two singles for the winners. Rodney Clore, Josh Torres and Bill Souza each netted three hits for Freddie Sanchez Hardwood Floors.
Ralph Ortiz homered twice as No Soup 4 You began Men’s E League action Thursday with a 15-6 nod over Claddagh Brew Crew.
Manny Juarez, Johnny Castaneda and Rudy Maquinalez each produced three hits for the Soup. Joey Hoiberg scored two Claddagh Brew Crew runs.
Anritsu outlasted the Lost Boyz 13-10 at Las Animas Park. Andy Alarcon homered and doubled for the winners.  Ponch Flores scored three Anritsu runs. Bryce Wilson stroked a home run, double and single for the Lost Boyz. Eddie Vargas added a triple and single.
The Loco Boys scored eight runs in the bottom of the final frame to upset Sons of Thunder 19-18. Toby Smith led the Loco Boys offense with a homer and two singles. Jason Corona homered and Nick Hilton completed a 5-for-5 showing with a single in the decisive inning. Adolfo Tellez homered and scored four runs for Sons of Thunder.
Adam Kirkpatrick hit for the cycle and Nick Robinson homered, tripled and singles to pace VFW Bingo past the Gilroy Bombers 28-8. Steve Lemberger and Frank Perez each accounted for four VFW Bingo hits. Jesse Barajas homered and singled for the Bombers.
Frank Vargas Taxes-Fiesta Auto Insurance opened Men’s CC League play Friday at Christmas Hill Park with a 14-7 victory over the Stud Muffins.
EJ Mendoza and Rob Spaulding each stroked two doubles for the winners. Anthony Lozano homered in a three-hit, three-run effort for the Stud Muffins.
The Heathens used an eight-run third inning to upset Cypress Hill Concrete 14-11. Maciel Urenda’s two-run double keyed the Heathen rally. Chris Del Real went 3-for-3 for the winners. Abel Gutierrez provided a homer and two singles for Cypress Hill.
Louie Garcia and Ricky Gonzalez each homered and Junior Campos hit a triple and two singles to pace AG Construction past the Battle Brothers 15-7. Steven Smith tripled and singled for the Battle Brothers.
Feather Haven opened Men’s DD League action Friday at Las Animas with a 17-7 decision over Gil’s FX. Aaron Parker went 3-for-4 for Feather Haven. George Espinosa went 2-for-4 and scored two Gil’s FX runs.
Leroy Martinez hit two home runs in the third inning as Louie & the Outlaws outlasted Alice Cortez Bail Bonds-Garlic Shoppe 21-14. Chris Velasco and Albert Camacho hit consecutive home runs in the Cortez-Garlic Shoppe fourth frame.
The Good, Bad and Ugly scored 13 runs in the final inning to defeat Heinzen Manufacturing 35-21. Michael Garcia, Ernie Payan, Andrew Mokres and Joel Garcia each scored four Good runs. Tyler Price hit a grand slam for Heinzen Manufacturing.
