military.
Dear Editor:
I would like to hear and see more articles in support of our military. Our men and women are facing a reality of war. Yet, I rarely see any articles of support from our community. Who are we to complain about domestic issues when our own citizens are in position to fight for our freedom and nation’s security overseas? They face a deadly possibility of never returning. We are safe at home with our families, jobs, cars and comfort.
I think as a nation we should stop complaining at least for the holidays and thank our military for their sacrifice. As a member of the Air National Guard I’m thankful for the support my family has given me and I’m thankful for all the men and women who are overseas preparing for war.
As we move closer to the new year and a new war, everyone should take a second and remember those who are making the ultimate sacrifice: To defend the citizens of the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.
