Robert Eugene Duncan, age 80, passed away Thursday, May 22, 2003.
He was the beloved husband of the late Natalie Duncan. Bob rejoined his wife of 54 years on the dance floor on May 22. He was a generous and loving father of Patricia Duncan Rockwell.
Bob was a Pearl Harbor survivor, serving aboard the USS Tennessee.
Bob and Nat moved to Morgan Hill from their hometown of Portsmouth, Ohio, after Bob was discharged from the United States Navy in 1946. Bob worked for PG&E for 37 years as a line crew foreman in Gilroy.
He was one of the founding members of the Morgan Hill Volunteer Fire Department.
Private scattering of his cremains will be held at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, in July.
Arrangements handled by Johnson Funeral Home, Morgan Hill.Gilroy. Family and friends will gather at Habing Family Funeral Home on Friday at 9:30 a.m. and then procession to St. Mary’s Church for a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Gilroy. Family would appreciate donations to the Heart Association in her memory.
