Dear Editor,

There is evidence for Intelligent Design everywhere. Open your
eyes: note the solar system, the honeybee, the beautiful rose. Do
you think this beautiful world arose out of a primordial slime
millions of years ago when two molecules accidentally fused to
create life? Life in all respects is by design, designed with a
purpose.

Dear Editor,
“There is evidence for Intelligent Design everywhere. Open your eyes: note the solar system, the honeybee, the beautiful rose. Do you think this beautiful world arose out of a primordial slime millions of years ago when two molecules accidentally fused to create life? Life in all respects is by design, designed with a purpose.”
Please tell me this is not your scientific evidence for intelligent design. I wonder if some poor soul in Sierra Leone wouldn’t legitimately question the design that purposefully left him impoverished. The scientific fact is life is an evolution based primarily on survival of the fittest. This theory is not mutually exclusive to design, but design certainly does not explain the beauty of a rose, which like most flowers evolved to be beautiful, in our perception, for practical purposes. Is there unexplained phenomenon? Certainly, but because no theory has been able to fully and adequately explain our origin does not mean we should craft a theoretical vessel made of religious crack pottery. It’s a rosy view, but it’s not science.
