Roundup: Tomlinson, Mendoza lead GHS softball team by Monterey

Rachel Tomlinson had two doubles and Celeste Mendoza went 2-for-3 to lead Gilroy High’s softball team to a 7-3 home win over Monterey on Tuesday.

The Mustangs improved to 7-4 overall and 2-1 in the Monterey Bay League Gabilan Division.

BOYS VOLLEYBALL

Christopher High’s boys volleyball team rallied for a 25-23, 13-25, 18-25, 25-23, 15-13 home win over Seaside on Tuesday night.

Also Tuesday, Watsonville rolled to a 25-5, 25-2, 25-6 sweep at Gilroy.
