Freshman point guard Joel Sales scored 24 points, but Gavilan College’s men’s basketball team was eliminated from the Monterey Peninsula College Tournament on Friday with a 66-52 loss to host MPC.
Gavilan (2-4), which went 0-2 in the tournament, suffered a 60-40 loss to Los Medanos on Thursday night.
