Leonard Silva Jr.

Air Force Airman Leonard J. Silva Jr. graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.

The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills. Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

He is the son of Leonard and Santa Silva of Hollister. Silva graduated in 2007 from San Benito High School and received an associate degree in 2009 from California Culinary Academy, San Francisco.

Ezequiel Rodriguez II was born June 23, 2010 at Natividad Hospital in Salinas to Ezequiel and Xochil Rodriquez of Gilroy. He weighed 7 pounds, 4.5 ounces.

Felix Manuel Chavira III

Felix Manuel Chavira III was born June 27, 2010 at San Jose Kaiser Medical Center to Monica and Felix Manuel Chavira II. He weighed 8 pounds.

Gavin Atter Macdonald

Gavin Atter Macdonald was born April 6, 2010 at Newton-Wellesley Hospital to Brooke and Andrew Macdonald of Upton, Mass.

WEDDING

Gasper/Carr

Kristi Lynne Gasper and Ryan James Carr were married June 5, 2010 in Coronado.

Kristi, daughter of John and Teddie Gasper, graduated from Gilroy schools and received a bachelor’s degree from San Diego State University. She is employed by Life Settlement Solutions in San Diego and is continuing her education to become a Certified Public Accountant.

Ryan, son of David and Debi Carr of Carlsbad, graduated from Carlsbad schools and received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado. Ryan is owner of Carr Accounting in San Diego.

The couple honeymooned in Italy and Greece and reside in San Diego.
