GILROY – The second half of the Gilroy Community Services Department Spring-Summer season begins Sunday May 18 with five games at Las Animas Park.
Eleven leagues continue play with games weeknights and Sundays through mid-July. A best 2-of-3 Championship Series will be held for each league. Games are played at Christmas Hill and Las Animas Parks.
The Co-Rec C League opens Sunday at 4pm with a game between Team Strike and Blackout Window Tinting. El Fuego and ifly compete at 5:10, Icy Hotz and the Big Kahunas at 6:20pm.
The Co-Rec B League features Team Coconut and Frank Vargas Taxes at 7:30pm. Team Hair FX, the C League first-half champion, tests Pacific Coast Bail Bonds, the B first-half titlist, at 8:40pm.
