Possession of methamphetamine

– Kreg Matthew Abruzzini, 41, of San Jose, 12:16 p.m. Sept. 19, near Bolsa Road and Travel Park Circle.

Under the influence of a controlled substance

– Adrian Curtis Pryer, 38, of Merced, 7:45 p.m. Sept. 16, on the 3500 block of Leavesley Road for being under the influence of a controlled substance and parole hold.

OTHER INCIDENTS

Burglary

– A generator, pressure washer, hedge trimmer and rototiller worth a total of $3,000 was stolen from a barn on the 5200 block of Redwood Retreat Road, between 5 p.m. Sept. 19 and 4:30 a.m. Sept. 20.

– A love seat, washer and dryer worth a total of $1,400 was stolen from a residence on the 17500 block of Hoot Owl Way in Morgan Hill, between 12 a.m. Sept. 11 and 2:30 p.m. Sept. 18.

Petty theft

An unidentified man who was acting strangely took beer and snacks worth $33 from the Chevron gas station on the 10000 block of Casa de Fruta Parkway in Hollister and fled on foot, 8:40 p.m. Sept. 19.

Vandalism

– Two sections of barbed wire were cut from a fence on the 12200 block of McConnell Court in San Martin, between 12 p.m. Sept. 18 and 2:08 p.m. Sept. 19.

Recovered stolen vehicle

– A 2007 black Chevrolet Tahoe that was stolen out of San Jose was found on the 13900 block of Sycamore Avenue in San Martin, 5:12 p.m. Sept. 18.

Found burglary tools

– A black bag full of burglary tools and wires was found on the 3800 block of Leavesley Road, 8:20 a.m. Sept. 17.

Grand theft

– A purse and an iPod were stolen from an unlocked 1999 white Ford Explorer on the 9900 block of Pacheco Pass Highway, between 12 and 2:20 p.m. Sept. 12.

Found property

– $5,480 that was found at the Morgan Hill Buddhist Church was turned into the South County Sheriff’s Substation, 80 Highland Avenue in San Martin, 1:38 p.m. Sept. 14.

Forgery

– Desiree Beatrice Cavazos, 28, of Gilroy, allegedly obtained a Gilroy man’s tax return check, forged his signature and cashed the check at Arteaga’s Market, between 12 a.m. June 1 and 1:45 p.m. Sept. 13. Cavazos is already in police custody on another matter.
