An unknown person brandished a knife at two people who were
inside their black 1997 Toyota 4-door near North Uvas and Wallace
roads in Morgan Hill, 3 p.m. Dec. 3. The person also threatened the
two victims and slashed their tires after they fled, fearing for
their safety.

Under the influence of a controlled substance

Jesse Carlos Rosales, 38, of Gilroy, 5:20 p.m. Sunday, near Ninth and Rosanna streets for being under the influence of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance.

Antoinette Montano, 44, of Gilroy, 9:30 a.m. Saturday, on the 900 block of Southside Drive for being under the influence of a controlled substance and parole violation.

Bonnie Marie Marks, 43, of Gilroy, 3:57 a.m. Dec. 1, near Monterey Road and Church Avenue in San Martin.

Other sheriff’s incidents

Altered or forged check

A check was stolen from the 1800 block of Maple Avenue in San Martin and cashed at a bank in San Mateo, between 12 p.m. Oct. 9 and 12 p.m. Monday.

Found property

A cash register was found on the side of the road near Murphy and San Martin avenues in San Martin, 12:30 p.m. Saturday.

Grand theft

Appliances and farm equipment were stolen from a residence on the 2000 block of Roop Road, between 12 a.m. Jan. 1 and 11 a.m. Sept. 22. The trustee for the house noticed the items missing after regaining control from the previous tenant.

Brandishing a knife

Theft of a license plate

The rear license plate was stolen from a gray 2005 Nissan Maxima on the 13500 block of Monterey Road in San Martin, between 6:20 p.m. Nov. 30 and 6:10 a.m. Dec. 1.

Burglary

A $5,500 jukebox was stolen from the Coyote Bar and Nightclub on the 8100 block of Monterey Highway in south San Jose, between 10 p.m. Nov. 27 and 5:16 p.m. Dec. 2.

Vandalism

A 2007 black Nissan Titan was keyed in Lot H at Gavilan College, 5055 Santa Teresa Blvd., between 2:30 p.m. Nov. 30 and 9 a.m. Dec. 1.
