Armed robbery
– Two unknown suspects, Sept. 25 at 8 p.m. near the 3200 block of Pacheco Pass Highway in Gilroy for robbing a suspect at gun and knifepoint. The suspects are still at large.
Drunk in public
– Jesus Delacruz, 32, of the 7790 block of Chestnut Road in Gilroy, Sept. 27 at 11:40 p.m. near the intersection of Monterey Road and First Street in Gilroy for being drunk in public.
Possession
– Luis Sanchez, 25, of the 7544 block of Alexander Street in Gilroy, Sept. 26 at 3:01 a.m. near the intersection of Murray Avenue and IOOF Avenue in Gilroy for evading a peace officer and possession of methamphetamines.
Theft
– An unknown suspect, Sept. 24 at 11 p.m. near the 9600 block of Kern Avenue in Gilroy for stealing $5,140 worth of tools and parts from a truck.
– An unknown suspect, Sept. 24 at 10 p.m. near the 12000 block of Foothill Avenue in Gilroy for residential burglary of approximately $500 in stolen goods.
– An unknown suspect, Sept. 20 at 8:12 a.m. at Gavilan College on the 5000 block of Santa Teresa Boulevard for stealing a backpack totaling $490 in value.
Driving without a helmet and probation violation
– Jose Reyes, 34, of the 6300 block of Monterey Road in Gilroy, Sept. 24 at 12:11 p.m. near the intersection of Monterey Highway and Ronan Street in Gilroy for not wearing a safety helmet while riding his motorized scooter and not having an ignition interlocking device. Because Reyes was on probation from a prior DUI, he was required to have an ignition interlocking device.
Under the influence
– Matthew Tartt, 27, of the 630 block of Terri Court in Gilroy, Sept. 23 at 6:15 a.m. near the 600 block of Terri Court for being under the influence of a controlled substance/stimulant.
– Steven Hernandez, 46, of the 6950 block of Church Street in Gilroy, Sept. 22 at 9:30 p.m. near the intersection of 10th Street and Alexander Street in Gilroy for being under the influence of a controlled substance or stimulant.
Credit card theft
– An unknown suspect, Aug. 19 at 12:01 a.m. committed credit card theft of a suspect who lives on the 13000 block of Foothill Road in San Martin. The incident was reported Sept. 22. The credit card account was charged with $409.72 in fraudulent purchases.
Restraining order violation
– Maria Perez, 32, of the 6290 block of Pacheco Pass Highway in Gilroy, Sept. 16 at 8 a.m. near the intersection of Guibal Avenue and Jeanie Lane in San Martin for violating a No Contact restraining order.
