SUNNYVALE – The Silicon Valley Mustangs 13-and-Under team won the Nations Baseball Ultimate Memorial Day tournament held at the Twin Creeks Sports Complex in Sunnyvale on May 23-25.
The Mustangs defeated the Kado Hurricanes by a score of 10-1 in the championship game to end a stellar weekend of play. Over the course of the three-day tournament, Silicon Valley outscored its opponents 52-16. With an overall record of 22-5 on the season, the Mustangs have now won two tournaments over the course of the Spring.
