Details: The 5-foot-11 senior guard hit four 3-pointers and scored 28 points in a 52-47 victory over San Benito in the Watsonville Tournament title game Saturday. She was named Most Valuable Player at the tournament. … Tabron signed Monday to play college basketball at Vanguard University, an NAIA power in Costa Mesa, Calif. She’s believed to be the first Christopher basketball player, male or female, to receive a basketball scholarship to college.

Q: What are your goals after high school?
A: In college, I want to improve and compete with my team. Academically, I want to graduate with a high GPA.
Q: Where is the biggest area your game has improved over the years?
A: Everything. When I came here I was a post player. I just had to develop my guard skills, and now I’m going to college as a guard.
Q: What is your favorite subject in school?
A: Math or science, one of those two.

A: Love and Basketball
Q: What will you miss most about Christopher?
A: Just how everyone comes together for sporting events, and the feeling around Christopher. It feels like a family.
