Try-outs for local leagues get underway.
GILROY – The Gilroy Hot Shots a 16U-A Fast Pitch Girls Softball team will be holding open try outs for their 2003 season for players 14 – 16 years old on or before Jan 1, 2003.
Open try outs will be held Sunday, Dec 8 and 15 from 1-3 p.m. at Christmas Hill Parks Ranch field in Gilroy.

MORGAN HILL – Pride of Morgan Hill 10U A, 12U A, and 14U A tryouts for Summer 2003 are being held on December 15 and January 12 at Community Park in Morgan Hill.
Pitchers and catchers from 12:30 p.m. to 1pm. All players from 1 p.m.-3 p.m.

MORGAN HILL – Golden Oak Volleyball Club, which services primarily the Morgan Hill, Gilroy, and Hollister areas, will be holding tryouts on Sunday, December 8.
Tryouts will be held at Live Oak High School. There is a tryout fee of $10. If a parent or guardian is unable to accompany the athlete, please download the NCVA membership form from our website and be sure to fill it out and sign it.
Tryout times are as follows:
•Noon – 2 p.m. for U17, U18 (check in at noon)
•2 p.m. – 4 p.m. for U15, U16 (check in at 1:30)
•4 p.m. – 6 p.m. for U12, U13, U14 (check in at 3:30)
