When mentioned together, football and the summer months in Santa Clara County, one thought often sneaks to the forefront: The Charlie Wedemeyer High School All-Star Football Game.

Christopher outhit Monterey 9-6 Tuesday, but couldn't best the Toredores in the runs column.

The Mustangs improved to 3-0 in League duals with a 45-27 win, two days before the start of the 32nd annual Mid-Cal Classic at GHS.
