The Palma-Notre Dame swim team gave Christopher one of its toughest tests of the year, but the girls still came away with a win.

The podium for the high jump at Gilroy’s Avis Kelley Invite was loaded with local athletes.

John Forestieri drove in all three of Gavilan's runs, lifting it to a 3-2 win over the Lobos at Monterey Peninsula College Saturday. 

Five of Gilroy's top academic performing seniors got a special treat on March 21 as they earned scholarships to attend the "7 on 7 Training Academy", which is hosted by coach Sherman Croft. The camp was held at Cabrillo College in Aptos. 

GILROY—The season may be over for the Mustangs, but they continue to bring in the hardware.

SURPRISE, ARIZ.—The last match of the United States Tennis Association’s 65 and Over Tennis Championships was as close as they come. Gilroy’s Ann Bardrick and her doubles teammate Janis Jud, of San Martin, held the fate of their teams’ national title on the tennis racquets—but they didn’t know it at the time.

The Christopher lacrosse team is off to a red hot start.

Cabrillo's Zane Gelphman hit a grand slam in the eighth inning, but Gavilan wasn't intimidated. 

GILROY—Christopher faced arguably its toughest test of the season Tuesday, taking on the undefeated San Benito Haybalers, but it held its own.
