After losing its home opener by a lone goal, the Christopher boys soccer team rebounded in a big way. 

It took the Mustangs about 10 minutes to find their groove against Greenfield and once they did, they were practically unstoppable.

GILROY—It’s been quite a season for Jacob Moen and the Christopher football team. The senior linebacker and tight end helped the Cougars to a Monterey Bay League Pacific Division title, a Central Coast Section playoff berth, their fourth straight Severance Bowl title as well as retaining the South County Championship crown for the second year in a row.

After dropping its first game of the Aptos Tournament, Christopher rebounded with two big wins to close it out. 

Gavilan's three-game skid came to an end with a 52-49 win over College of Marin Friday. 

GILROY—Gunderson handed Gilroy its first lost of the season and unfortunately for the Mustangs, it was in the Mustang Classic Tournament Championship game.

GILROY—Gilroy and Notre Dame went basket-for-basket with each other all night—until the Mustangs silenced the Spirits in the fourth quarter.
